The Witherees is a 2-piece acoustic band from Houston, TX. Officially formed in spring of 2011, but running several years before as a busking act along the Gulf Coast. The Band is Michael “Disaster” Castillo (Chenevert 4, Focusyn) and former band mate Jimi Cavazos, (Focusyn, Cosmos St. Band and Radio Blackout, Quiet Morning & the Calamity). The Witherees play acoustic music that is influenced by Punk Rock, Country, Americana, Alternative, and Folk. Debut Full length out Summer, 2014
