Stepping on stage for the first time at the tail end of 2006, Cody quickly realized that he finally had some direction in his life after years of dumping money into college classes that he was not attending and failing to make ends meet as an arsonist for hire(in wake of the arson boom of 05). Cody became a regular on stages throughout Nebraska as he began to hone his craft and save funds for relocation. Finally in early 2010 Cody made the move to Austin, TX in search of stage time and comedic growth. Ever since he has been fortunate enough to be featured at SXSW and Fun Fun Fun Fest, as well as be a finalist in the 2010, ’11, ’12, and ’13(3rd place) Funniest Person In Austin Contests. Cody has had the pleasure of opening for many comedy greats including Doug Stanhope, Doug Benson, and Tom Rhodes.
